When you buy, the device is yours: you pay for the device once and a monthly tracking service fee is added. When you rent, there is no purchase price - you pay a monthly fee that includes both use of the device and the tracking service. Buying suits long-term use; renting suits you if you want a lower upfront cost or need GPS temporarily.
All tracking is done in the JusTrack app and web platform. You see the real-time location, can set up geofences and follow trip history. You log in with your e-mail address.
Yes. The platform stores trip history and produces reports on mileage, stops and routes. You can view the data both in the app and on the web.
The devices use the mobile network for data, so operation depends on mobile coverage and GPS signal availability at the location. Coverage is good in most of Estonia; in very remote or shielded places the signal may be weaker.
